Tire overall feel of the album is definitely Celtic but within that, a wide variety of other styles and influences are incorporated. The album opens with an almost rock-style anthem "0 The Passion" followed by the melodious "Introit" with a very Enya feel. Other highlights include the use of sitar to give an Indian flavour to "Beautiful Scandalous Night" and "Blue Waters", classically inspired string arrangements on "Behold The Lamb" and the very catchy upbeat "Blessing Flow". Musically, the album is a feast, especially for those who appreciate complex melodic arrangements; the vocals rising clear but mellow above the rhythmic mix. The real beauty comes through the lyrics which roll out the thick, richly patterned carpet of God's mercy and grace; the tracks penned by Sheila herself have the moving integrity of personal testimony, particularly "Throne Of Grace" and the title track. Truly an album to stir the heart; close your eyes, lie back and let your spirit soar.
