The acoustic pop of Shane Barnard and Shane Everett has gained them a major following in the States though their winning ways with catchy hooks and warm harmonies has yet to find a big following amongst UK church-goers. However, for those who have caught up with Shane & Shane I can report that this album, recorded at Wellhouse Studios in Cedar Hill, Texas is possibly their best ever. Bringing in some talented special guests including Jason Hoard (Third Day), Tyler Chester (Fiction Family) and Josh Moore (Caedmon's Call) gives the arrangements plenty of texture while their musical smorgasbord as well as their folk-sounding songs takes in jazz, pop and modern worship. The theme of grace weaves its way through the songs here with the title track opener, reminding us that we come to God empty handed, is a gem. Another standout is "The One You'll Find" which could almost be a Mumford & Sons cut. An album well worth tracking down.

Product Description
What do we bring that makes us worthy to come to God. Namely NOTHING. ‘Come everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.’ Isaiah 55:1. And that is what the title of this album is about. Come as you are…Bring Your Nothing.
