If you're bored of hearing the same styles of music all the time (or even if you're not) this album will be like a breath of fresh air from your otherwise stagnant loud speaker cones. I've been trying to figure out if this is dance music with a world influence or world music with a dance influence. Perhaps it's both! Vince Millett and Louis Counter have pulled out all the stops for this first Secret Archives release on CD. Huge numbers of new sounds, interesting atmospheres and inventive beats. There's Indian melodies, drum 'n' bass rhythms, electronica synths, weird guitars, gamelan ensembles, Eastern European folk tunes and even the occasional South American nose flute! Reformation takes you on a fascinating musical journey you will want to travel again and again. Hopefully this band won't stay secret much longer. Will the Pope approve? I couldn't possibly say but I'm sure the late Mother Theresa would have been happy tapping her foot to it.
