Reviewed by Doug Holland Feucht is the founder of Burn 24/7, a global worship, prayer and mission organisation (so named to try and express the heart experience of being in joyful communion with the presence of God), and this compilation of nine live tracks (66 minutes of music), captured from three worship events in his native United States, brilliantly captures the energy, excitement and passion of his approach to his faith. While Feucht's songs are excellent (straightforward and accessible in lyrical content, melodically hooky), and his voice is strong, rich and resonant, it is the instrument selection here (bouzouki, banjo, dun duns and hammered dulcimer blended with more conventional worship band sounds) which lifts this offering out of the usual and into the dramatic. Superb additional vocals, a kit sound most bands can only dream of creating, a sense of fluidity created by allowing several songs to run one into the next and good use of the congregation's sound, all contribute to a high-excitement package of prophetic worship that conveys well the principles and vision behind Burn 24/7.
