A hugely impressive debut EP from a 19 year old Alabama-based worship leader set to get serious Cross Rhythms radio exposure. Hitmaking songsmiths Ed Cash and Mark Byrd help out with the songwriting while and not to mention top brass producers Ian Eskelin and Matt Bronleewe give the whole thing a radio friendly sheen. First track "Awaken" introduces you within the first few bars to a voice not unlike Leigh Nash (Sixpence None The Richer) driven by guitar-based rock, and a heart which is God focused. "Come Save" is one of two ballads, this one pleading for God's mercy to "Free us from these chains'. The other ballad is the title track where Sarah sings, "I am an instrument of the Living God/My life a melody to his name." This seven-track disc (six and an introduction to be exact), is the start of something very special.
