After pastiching a whole gamut of '50s and '60s musical styles on 'Obey The Maker's Instructions', talented Celtic rootsman Sammy now turns his attention to country music and, with tongue-in-cheek (or does he always sound like that?) uses the style to unpack Biblical parables for kids. Songs like "Yippi Yi-Yo" and "If You Knew The Sioux" are hilarious, and the whole album exudes the energy and bonhomie that puts Sammy in the first division of children's communicators.
