Based in Atlanta, this worship pastor has created an album that mixes together a range of influences that include pop, rock and R&B in a similar fashion to Israel Houghton's work. The result is a worship set that will appeal to a multi-ethnic congregation. This ranges from pumping, high energy praise (the title track) through to beautiful ballads ("Heart Of Worship" - no, not that one!) and some beautiful gospel praise ("You Amaze", "Sounds Of Change"). Overall 'Glimpse' has great musicianship and arrangements and fulfils its aim to create an album which expresses and encourages intimacy with God. Without doing anything earth shattering or original, this is a good strong solid worship album.
