In 2004 Robert Galea from released a three-track single called "More Of You" and now comes his debut album, recorded at ICC Studios. If it could find some elusive publicity the 10 worship songs showcased here could establish Robert as an exceptional singer/songwriter. Robert's vocals are strong and clear, especially on the track "Make Me Holy" and he's ably complimented by such musicians as Mark Prentice (Delirious?) on bass, Neil Costello (Gloria Gaynor) on electric guitar and Paul Evans (Tim Hughes, Matt Redman) on drums. Backing singer Leana Grech's voice naturally compliments Robert's on "Nothing Less", a song easily adaptable for congregational worship, while the lady gets to sing lead on "Only By Grace", a beautiful interpretation of "Amazing Grace" penned by Robert. "All I Need" is noticeably faster than the other tracks, with good guitar and drum input giving it a contemporary feel. All these songs are written or co-written by this 23 year old who is currently studying theology and philosophy in Malta. He hopes to be ordained into the catholic priesthood in the summer of 2010. Congratulations to ICC for bringing him to our attention.

I know this review is nearly 10 years old, and the CD a
little more, but surely some credit should be given to Mark
Edwards - not only playing Piano, Hammond Organ, & Synths,
but adding a fair sprinkle of divine magic to the
arrangements . . . But now I see Fr. Robert Galea has done a
number of other CDs ! Def. worth pursuing - just Google him
or checkout Youtube !
