Those who endeavour to keep up with the ever increasing flow of Christian hip-hop albums will know that Godchaserz Entertainment is one of those labels that never releases a dud album. Those who've already heard on Cross Rhythms radio the title track of this free mixtape by Jacksonville, Florida-based emcee will already know that this set contains some radio-friendly gems. Mixed by Cincinnati's D-Maub and featuring productions from well known figures like Swope, Wes Pendelton and Swade Beatz, 'Paradyme Shift' is definitely an album to seek out. The title track has a retro '70s sound with guitar licks and staccato drums and where guest Giano gives added punch to ReadyWriter's forthright flows. Another standout is "Little Letter' which heavily samples George Harrison's "Roll Over Beethoven" on the chorus. Other tracks worth hearing are "Look Beautiful" and "P.O.M." which stands for "Power Of Music". Yep, an outstanding set in a crowded field.
