Ambient music with a dance feel and plenty of atmosphere is what Psonics is all about. Never bland, at times this is haunting, at times it's just simply wonderfully creative. Four tracks for your delectation and delight and for me the highlights are "Amen" which has a fabulous wailing sample which floats in and out of the mix in a memorable fashion. The spooky one is "Forgiveness" simply because of its wonderful use of samples including a guy wailing with all the anguish of Dr Faustus over a floating ambient track. It's a startling presentation of the power of forgiveness and a stunning track! I just love the creativity here and the way that Psonics weave all the elements together to create an excellent 30 minute EP.
