If you're a fan of Phillips Craig & Dean then you will love this album. A definitive collection of some of their best known tracks with some well worked covers of the likes of Tim Hughes ("Here I Am To Worship") and Matt Redman ("The Heart Of Worship"). This is a very easy to listen to CD though fans of the group will obviously have these tracks on other CDs. But if you're looking for a slickly produced album with good harmonies this compilation shows the Nashville veterans off in a good light.

Great 2 cd set hilighting some of the best songs from this ccm trio's first 12 years of recording.
Mercy Came Running off their 3rd release begins songs on disc 1. I totally love this song, it has top quality ccm sound & lyrics. What follows is the song that catapulted the guys right into ccm. From their debut, and quite a fave, "Favorite Song Of All", another I just loved immediately when ccm radio first played it in early 1993. From their 2nd release we hear Dan Dean's top heart grabber, "I Want To Be Just Like You". The Concert Of The Age song was also used as title for a vhs concert released same year, it featured newcomer and now unheard Brian Barrett. Great song for ccm listeners to hear.
"Shine On Us" is the prayer song of all believers; a most beautiful song from the first "Utmost For His Highest release in June of '95. 2 songs from 1997, "Where Strength Begins" & "This Is How It Feels To Be Free"; great ccm songs. Last song for cd #1 is the classic Benny Hester song from mid 80's, "When God Ran": also recorded by trio Shaded Red the same year as PCD, 1999. Both trios have a favorable cover of the song as the original from Benny Hester.
Disc 2 contains worship songs that were the crop of the millenium start; several ccm artists released classic hymns & worship songs to include 2 of ccm's top artists, Amy Grant & Michael W. Smith.
Come,Now Is The Time For Worship is so inviting to every believer, perfect cd starter. Great ccm sound for "Let Everything That Hath Breath", love it!
2 years after PCD's release of "You Are My King (Amazing Love), top ccm group Newsboys record another favorable version of Billy James Foote's masterpiece. Wish I could comment on every worship song as it deserves, but words are limited.
Nearly 2 1/2 hours of PCD on this set. God bless, Don
