Here's a split EP with three tracks from Stoke-on-Trent's punk purverors Peter118 and three tracks from New Jersey's No Lost Cause. The latter offer a bawled version of the old hymn "I Stand Amazed", a surging "The Crowd" ("Can someone tell me what the point is?") and best of their three, the pogo-propulsive "Outcasts". But it's Peter118 who deliver the killer cut here. "Waiting" is a pointed critique on wasting the opportunity to change snarled over a surging, throbbing punk assault. One minute 36 seconds of propulsive intensity. It's already had play on Kerrang! Radio and been played by Rodney Bigenheimer, the famed radio personality who was the first US deejay to play The Ramones, Blondie and The Sex Pistols. Could these unassuming Jesus-loving Stokies follow in the footsteps of such exalted acts?
