Hang on a minute! This guy is Ben Fogle from Castaway or I'm a Chinaman! Well, if he isn't he's a dead ringer. A cheerful chappy is Pete, and his band appear equally chipper. This was produced with Harvey Jessop and Bono Hodge, formerly of the brilliant Flow. Styles are varied throughout. The title track is Motown-esque pop, but elsewhere there are acoustic outings, "Life To The Full' tips a hat to Elastica, "Holy Man" is a wah wah led funktastic workout and "Until The Music Stops' turns the clock back to the '70s, complete with multiple solo section. Now that Pete has joined "Christian popstars” Oxygen, 'On A Mission' could one day become a valuable collector's item.
