Paul May will always have a place in the hearts of all Christian performers, because he very generously makes his material available free of copyright; it takes a special kind of muso to print on the cassette label the magic words "Please copy and pass on" ! And it's not as if the material is seriously naff, or the production is back-bedroom four-track stuff; the songs are musically straightforward, well crafted pop praise and worship, and production values are well up to scratch. If you're a worship leader and you can't write a good song to save your life, then these 11 items should give you something to get your teeth into. The last line of the second track on this cassette says "God's gift of life is given for free" - so are these songs, as a resource for God's people to use to praise his name. Paul's uniquely sacrificial ministry deserves our support.
