When known as Pray For Rain the band made a dazzlingly successful debut into the wunnerful world of American Christian radio and this is the follow up. Excellent it is too. PFR's forte is hook-filled rock of the Newsboys variety with production values that only come from months of expensive studio time. One aside on those production values - as a man called Solomon once observed, "there's nothing new in the producer's armoury" (my paraphrase). The old-time neo-megaphone intro to "Goldie's Last Day" is uncannily like something Terry Taylor might have dreamed up during Daniel Amos' "Horrendous Disc' period. But I digress. This is a top notch pop rock album - to be filed (if you ever get it off your CD player) next to the Newsboys' 'Not Ashamed'.
