Last year's International House Of Prayer's worship conference in Kansas City showcased plenty of original material, including Matt Gilman's title track and a bass drum line to "I will dance around your throne/In your presence is my home." Jonas Park's "I Am Yours" offered more bass drum alternating with quieter reflection before Anna Blanc's soaring vocal on "For I Was Far" and the lyric "You came and washed my guilt and filthy stains." Stacatto percussion introduced and punctuated Ryan Kondo's "From The Ends Of The Earth" and bloomed into synth with "Hallelujah the bridegroom is coming." Revelation's themes continued with "Survival Plan" and a West Indian intonation duet and reggae beat setting out God's plans for humanity between an accelerated chorus - "O-my-God-you-are-my-God" - and into a rap-style riff. Haunting electric guitar introduced Laura Hackett's "The Love Inside" and her melodic vocal line. All in all, an impressive showcase of the depth and diversity of IHOP talent.
