Simon, Marc and Stevie make up the German dance band Normal Generation? This, their second album, has a good mix of dance sounds. These range from the uplifting, European sounding dance tunes to the laid back hip-hop, groove sound. As well as the three up front guys, there are two lead female vocalists and even a choir on one of the songs! The two outstanding tracks have to be "Song To A Friend", a big hip-hop tune and "Heaven" with an ethereal guitar-drive dance track with some super lyrics. A couple of surprises were MIC's Jorge Mhondera doing some reggae vocals and a new arrangement of the classic worship song: "Lord I Lift Your Name On High". Generally a good release although it will probably appeal more to a European audience who are familiar with this kind of sound.
