Nigel and Rowena Steady are the team behind Cherith Music supplying Instrument Teaching, Song Writing, Worship Leading and Seminars. This album was recorded and released on cassette around 1986. Now remastered and re-issued, it features Nigel and Rowena's compositions alongside credible covers made popular by others, such as "Time And Time Again" (Paul Field) and "Such Is The Mystery" (sung by Cliff Richard on his 'Nearly Famous' album). Rowena's voice is truly beautiful and is a joy to listen to especially on "Mary Magdalene" written by Nigel and "Child For The End Of The Year", co-written by Rowena. Some of the songs, however, do reflect the era in which they were recorded, for example "I've Got To Show The Love" and the title track mirror the '80s' emphasis on keyboards. The other criticism, howbeit minor, is the sound quality of the album which when listening through headphones, shows that the tracks were not taken from the original masters and sound a bit "worn" in places. But there's no doubting the talent of this husband and wife team.
