Nicole is, of course, one of the few singers to chart in both American Christian music (white) and gospel (black) charts and this compilation is a pleasing assembly of most of her most popular songs. In 2001 Nicole won a Dove Award for Songwriter Of The Year for "Redeemer" and this powerful inspirational song still retains its impact. "Forever You Reign" is a soft rock song on which Nicole is able to demonstrate her guitar skills while "Call On Jesus" demonstrates the songwriting skills of this Ohio resident. "Black, White, Tan" is a racially conscious song that speaks of how we are all the same in the eyes of God, no matter our race or colour. The rhythm is mellow with a subtle Southern blues feel. If you don't have any albums by Nicole in your collection this could well be a good purchase.
