If you're at the age where you have discovered that daily devotional readings just don't cut it for you and wonder what planet the writers of such material actually live on, this may be the antidote! Maybe it's just that a lot of devotionals are a bit girly. Nick Battle is a musician and British record industry mogul who shared his story in the autobiography Big Boys Don't Cry. The Daily Male is a set of devotionals where Nick shares some of his frustrations at life. Ok, he rants! Now I've said it. He rants like a right old Mr Angry about drivers cutting him up, showbiz stars behaving badly, his lack of fitness, gas guzzling cars, banking institutions and, well, a host of other things. Nick has a knack for very down to earth observations, sharing some of the lessons he's learned in life and making you laugh and think at the same time. It's not often that you can say your daily devotional has entertained you but there it is. Definitely a winner!

Product Description
A no-holds-barred look at modern life and Christianity for men.
Straight-talking, real, quite often outrageous, welcome to The Daily Male by Nick Battle. Nick is on a mission to tell it like it is no matter what the subject is . . . and will probably make you laugh out loud in the process. Modern life is examined, unpacked and skewered with no airs or graces.
The Daily Male breathes the fresh air of common sense and biblical faith into men's often stifled discipleship. More than 40 different subjects are looked at in bite-sized chunks, including fitness, fatherhood, anxiety, overeating, over-drinking, Mondays, fidelity, being a godfather, vision, heroes and recycling.
