Has it really been 15 years since the Welsh schoolgirl burst on the scene? I reviewed her debut 'You And I' for Buzz magazine back in 1987 (I remember because here the informative sleeve reproduces the review!). What is a tad surprising is that though the sleeve reprints the memorabilia/sleeves of Nia's Ears & Eyes albums the songs from that era featured here are re-recordings Nia cut in Nashville. The sift through the back catalogue begins with "Diolch!" from Nia's Welsh language album of 1993 'Pwpas I Fyw'. From then on there are tracks from all Nia's albums up to 2000, including the title track from her fine 'Secrets Of Life' album. If you've been blessed by the lady's ministry, here's a useful, nicely packaged retrospective of her work.
