This is another of the series of albums that New Wine is producing aimed particularly at younger worshippers (eight plus, according to New Wine's publicity). Producer Mark Edwards has taken a dozen worship songs from the last few years and given them a facelift to add dance, R&B and pop styles which will, it is hoped, appeal to the teens and pre-teens in your church. And it has to be said, he does it very well. With vocals from Chris Hanby, Jenny Jarvis, Jill Mercer, George Mhondera (ex-MIC and The Tribe) and Mark Read, some additional guitars from Dan Wheeler and his own multi-instrumental expertise, Mr Edwards manages to turn out an album which really does grab the attention and give a lively twist to such songs as Brenton Brown's "Hallelujah", David Crowder's "O Praise Him" and "Glorious" by Chris Tomlin and Jesse Reeves. The cover blurb describes the tracks as "contemporary 'top ten' arrangements of great worship songs" and more or less this album lives up to the hype.
