Ross Parsley and the Desperation Band are a worship aggregation with a large following Stateside and this set, recorded at their home church in Colorado Springs, shows them in a favourable light. The opening up beat track "Counting On God" focuses on hoping in God and trusting him for strength for each day and this leads on to the punchy bass and drums drive of "Solid Rock". The album is well directed and covers a variety of styles including the soft tones of "Unfailing God" and "Greater" to the throbbing "God Has Come" finishing with "Overcome". The live worship atmosphere is ably captured here and you soon feel a part of the worship experience. Get it into your heart.
