Anyone who knows their UK Christian music history will tell you that the Bristol-based NGM ministry have been a seminal organization down the decades and have launched numerous groups and ministries since those early days when they once reached the UK pop charts with the groundbreaking group Heartbeat. Having helped pioneer modern worship in the UK it is particularly appropriate that NGM should now re-enter the modern worship arena with this release. New Generation Worship consists of interns, artists, worship leaders and musicians with each song featuring a different lead vocalist. The project is given "clean, modern production" by Tom Crouch who was trained by the organisation. Highlights include the slight calypso feel of "Dance Of Love" and the light pop feel of "Song Of Thanks" which would sit comfortably at large events as well weekly church services. "It Is Done", in contrast, is a heartfelt cry of faith. This collection offers something new and fresh to congregations worldwide.
