With a 10 year track record, gospel quartet Mighty Men Of Faith have honed their tight harmony sound and it really shows on their latest release. Their smooth vocals gives a strong R&B/soul feel to their gospel roots and their tight harmonies make anything they tackle sound lush, even when they venture into rap on "Show Me The Way" they pull it off serenely. The songwriting is excellent, particularly the two Steve Eaton (The Carpenters, Art Garfunkel) penned tracks "That's What He Did For Me" and "Everywhere", and is matched by the top notch production. This is definitely not shouty gospel - and whether it has enough edge to succeed in the contemporary arena is another matter - this smooth album warrants revisiting more than once.
