Product Description
In this album Michael W Smith shows signs of diversity with the gospel-tinged 'How Long Will Be Too Long' and the beautiful balladry in 'Cross My Heart.' 'Seed to Sow' showcases an anthemic hook that's hard to ignore. Throughout the release, Smith enhances his signature keyboard sound with horns, choral groups and hot guitar licks.

Michael crossed over into mainstream radio with the release
of this cd. You could hear the song "Place in this World"
on most radio stations in early Spring of 1991. "For You"
was the second song released as a 7" for mainstream radio.
The album title starts off the cd;it's a catchy tune,
however a line in the song seems to lack. It states "Go
west young man.. when the evil go east"; I live in the east,
and many have come this way that are believers. "Cross my
Heart" is a favorite, very melancholy; "Agnus Dei" has
become a signature classic from the cd. In 1999, Michael's
comrade Amy Grant recorded it so beautifully for her
"Christmas to Remember" cd. The song "How long will be too
long" is a song for today. It's hard to believe it has
been 20 years since the release of this cd. GOD Bless! Don
