Before his claim to fame status as a top ccm album producer;
we are introduced to Michael's self produced 2nd album of
70's styled songs. I had heard the nearly 3 minute side 1
opener "Aint' You Glad" on a compliation of myrrh artists.
Guest bgvs include Carolyn Willis who also sang duet with
pop icon duo Seals & Crofts hit Get Closer; which was
released the same year. Michael's talented wife Stormie also
suppplies bgvs; she also wrote the lyrics for all the songs.
I love "See This House"; it takes me away to a peacful
place; thanx Michael & Stormie.
Side 2 opener instrumental and follow up remind me of the
pop group Styx: i.e. "Alive & Well". The basic 5 minute
title song, "Adam Again" is a great song with lyrics the
same. The album closer is another lengthy song ( not unusual
for a 70's lp to include at least one lengthy #). "Here He
Comes" is 6 minutes of early ccm sound and lyrics. This is a
great early ccm lp to have. GOD Bless! -Don
