Michael Hart is a Canadian musician who has a 20-year track record. This is his sixth release, a culmination of four years of work. Described on Michael's website as "an offering that seeks to draw listeners to a place of encounter and blessing," this collection of songs has good lyrical content, four tracks being based on the Psalms. Musical styles include pop, Celtic, blues, bluegrass and a bit of flamenco. Some catchy tracks like "Surely Goodness And Mercy" which has a hint of Eric Clapton about it. Also "I'm Headed For" with a bluesy bluegrass sound really paints a picture for the listener who is transported from West Virginia mountains to the shores of the Emerald Isle with the following Celtic sounding traditional instrumental "I Feel The Winds Of God Today". All round a quality collection of crafted songs, not so much performed as shared by Michael Hart.
