Recorded live on December 6th, 1996 at Bethel Pentecostal Abundant Life Centre, a "flu ridden Marvin gives it everything he's got and in the end it's the crowd that's running a temperature on this recording. Mixing the smoothest of gospel voices with the happy sound of the Joy Crusade Chorale, the former Commissioned singer takes it back to church with a set of songs that have the emphasis on gospel. Producers Percy Bady and Marvin Winans ensure that there's still some funkiness going down as well as some soulful balladry. The former is present in the passionate "Trust God" which is undergirded by the groove whilst the latter is expressed on the powerful title track which also spotlights the guitar prowess of one Charles "Al" Willis. Simply stunning! Elsewhere, "For The Rest Of My Life" is finger snappingly good and is an effective vehicle to allow Marvin to minister and let loose in a soulful manner! "Not The Time Not The Place" is an encouragement to press on and it builds to an inspirational conclusion as Marvin pulls out all the stops. Even the guest appearances of Marvin Winans and Donnie McClurkin don't overshadow Sapp's talents here. Not an absolute classic but a good shot!
