Mark is an American-born human dynamo who clearly takes his mission to carry full-on praise and worship around the globe dead seriously having taken his passionate pop rock worship to such places as Egypt, China, Iceland and Albania. In the UK though, Mark is best known for his ministry at the 2003 and 2005 Spring Harvests. This studio album was produced in Nashville by John Hartley and is the follow up to Mark's 'Worshiplanet'. In truth, it is a much more engaging and easy-on-the-ear album than that passionate but slightly overblown live recording. Now with excellent session-seasoned players like Chris Rodriguez, Derri Daugherty, Steve Hindalong and Phil Madeira, the effect is mellow and tender-hearted rather than raucous and barnstorming. My favourite track is the title song that Mark co-wrote with Brighton songsmith Paul Oakley while the haunting, prayerful "Let Us Be Broken" is also a gem worthy of radio play. Kingsway are clearly now adept at getting Hartley and co to add Nashville know-how to outstanding batches of quality worship songs. Recommended.
