If Mark Harris needed an album to move him away from his days with 4Him and firmly assert his position as a serious solo artist, 'Windows And Walls' does the job perfectly. With melodies catchier than the flu on a winter's day, I was singing along before I'd finished listening to the first song! From "The Glory Of You" which is pure worship, to the comforting "Nothing Takes You By Surprise" to the challenge of "Let The Redeemed", each song left me wanting more of Mark's insight as well as his music. In an album full of inspirational (though occasionally clichéd) lyrics, "Come To The Mountain" stands out as one that really comes from the heart. As a nice touch to the album sleeve, the lyrics to each song are preceded by relevant Bible verses. Mark's silky voice and inspired songwriting make this an album recommended for all those who enjoy the smoothly produced sound of Nashville CCM.
