Lurine is well known on the British gospel scene and it's good to have a single by her. Her five octave vocals and songwriting are shown off to great effect on "You Revive Me" which, with a slow start with guitar and hi-hat, builds as the piano and bass kick in. By the end strings and Hammond are going full tilt behind Lurine's soaring vocals with the lady executing three key changes along the way. The remix is much more dance orientated with only the main vocal line surviving and having an almost drum 'n' bass feel. Both have received a fair amount of air play and are well worth searching out.
