This crowd funded album from the Phoenix-based singer/songwriter has already benefited from the single release of the extremely radio friendly "Holy Rain" (featured on the Cross Rhythms playlist), song two of this 12 track collection. However, this is not the only great song here. The title track is a testimony to not being designed to be a "Pilot Of My Life" while the excellent "Never Fade Out" asks "what makes your world spin" with an infectious simplicity and a vocal style that is somewhere between Jake Bugg and James Bay. The common theme through the album is dependence rather than control and the struggle in achieving this is illustrated very clearly with "Go Easy On Me". This album is both honest and engaging in delivering a message that will speak to many.
