This download single from Belfast-based Liz is taken from the recently released Christmas album 'Emmanuel' recorded jointly with fellow Celtic songstress Vivienne Neville. Anyone who's heard Liz's previous work will know what to expect here; a beautifully sparse backing gives space for her powerful voice to effortlessly soar over the top. "I think about Jesus and why it should be/That the high king of glory should love you and me" Liz sings at the start of a song that refreshingly celebrates the real meaning of the season. One of the best Christmas records you'll hear this year.
