In June this team from Lurgan will be supporting Larry Norman and Randy Stonehill then Live Issue will be heading on a "three week tour of the USA". If that sounds pretty impressive it becomes positively amazing after listening to this thoroughly undistinguished tape. The band play in a pop-rock style which might have been called "timeless" if executed with more flair and musical competence but becomes a rather lumpen collection of post war musical cliches which in the hands of these enthusiastic but none too subtle musicians. Try the cliched blues "Gospel Train" if you think I'm being too hard. There is some bold proclamation of the gospel going on here. But Live Issue need to sort out their whole musical approach.
