A very thin and frail Larry Norman performed this final concert before having a huge dinner for fans and friends who travelled in from around the world. This is not a great live album but as a record of a memorable evening, it works. His voice has dropped, occasionally he forgets words (nothing new for Larry in concert!) but he chats between songs in his usual unassuming deadpan fashion. There are classics like "The Outlaw", "UFO", "The Great American Novel" and "I Wish We'd All Been Ready". There's some fun when his sister Nancy joins him on stage and they sing songs he wrote before he was signed. So you get "You Gotta Quit Kickin' My Dog Around" and "Follow The Drinking Gourd" which are real rarities. There's a rough version of "The Rock That Doesn't Roll" complete with audience singalong and a closing "Why Don't You Look Into Jesus" and it seems that Larry gets stronger as the gig progresses! But to be honest if you've only got three Larry Norman albums, there are better ones to get than this which will appeal to passionate fans only!
