Here is a good reason for a collection of already released Larry Norman songs! 'Frisbee' is the soundtrack album accompanying a movie made about a Californian Jesus Movement pioneer Lonnie Frisbee who was a youth minister on the west coast of America. Tracks here range from those recorded for 'Upon This Rock' in 1969 like "Sweet Song Of Salvation" and "Moses" through the underground recordings from 'Bootleg' and 'Street Level' which include "Baby Out Of Wedlock" and "When I First Saw You". There are also songs from 'So Long Ago The Garden', 'Only Visiting This Planet' and 'In Another Land' so you get classics like "Why Don't You Look Into Jesus", "The Rock That Doesn't Roll" and "Nightmare #71". The results are the pleasing highlights of his '70s output and no doubt enhance the movie very well but for those of us overrun by all the already released compilations of Larry's previously released stuff, it's hard to get up any enthusiasm here.
