Kierra hails, of course, from a Detroit family that is now into its third generation of gospel singers. 'Bold Right Life' is Kierra's third album and she is really finding her own sound, morphing an R&B vibe and Clark Sisters-style harmonies into worship music for a new generation who might otherwise find praise and worship, even African American gospel worship, a bit boring. "Invisible" is about how we block the light so that people don't see Jesus and "Praise Him Now" touches on thanking God even when he reprimands us in ways we don't understand. Wow, these lyrics are biting! Like her previous albums, this is one you'll want to check out.
