Canada's Kelita had a previous album, 'Lucky Ones', available through Spirit Music. She has gained quite a reputation in her homeland with RCA and Boot Record releases to her credit. One of her songs "Neighbours Of The World" was the official song for Canada's Winter Olympics a few years ago. Here's the kind of 'new country' that capti-vatingly pervades the country music TV airways nowadays. This modern Canadian cowgirl has a rich, warm, rocking voice that captures attention immediately. Her quality material is clear, direct and honest, packaged musically in contemporary, country-chart styling. It is obvious that this inspirational album has been a labour of love and is highly autobiographical in content. Highlight tracks include "Don't You Think Its Time", "River Of Jordan" and "Unusual Child". Beautifully packaged, this album deserves a major label release and I would highlight it as an album worth searching out.
