In the predominantly male dominated sphere of full time worship leaders it is refreshing to hear the voice and heart of a woman. On this training CD, Kathryn Scott, best known for the song "Hungry", is interviewed on her experiences as a worship leader. There is a lot of ground that is covered, some of it is very familiar, such as the need for integrity, leading a band and planning a worship set, and yet there are some refreshingly different perspectives on areas including: the balancing act of being a young mum and a worship leader, and leading worship from a keyboard. Alongside the practical tips there is the obligatory in-depth look at the song "Hungry". Kathryn is likeable, honest and obviously passionate about worship and this helps overcome the rather monotone voice of the interviewer, which does grate after awhile! There are a lot of quality resources already available for worship leaders and bands but this particular resource is worth investigating.
