Yes, there is over one hour of music made and mixed by mobile phone by the London-based urban gospel man. Don't worry, it's way better than you're imagining! Such technical restrictions tend to focus the creative mind, and Nova has come up with some simple yet effective tracks. Some of the sounds are a bit cheesy and repetitive, but the tunes are catchy. It would all be a bit GCSE-music-project, but is elevated to more meaningful status by Karl's powerful yet approachable voice that draws you in to pay attention. The worshipful "Glory" is a highlight. This light-hearted and fun collection works best when listening on your own phone rather than on a large and revealing hi-fi system: the energy of the set will keep you moving during the journey to work/school. And it might cause you to try and get creative with whatever mobile is in your hands!

hello! I just saw this, thanks a lot for the review I really
appreciate it Andy.
I have to say though when I played a set at Notting Hill
Carnival in 2013 and did a track live from this release on a
huge hi fi sound system, it worked well and totally rocked
the crowd. So these tracks work well on anything nothing
just listening on your mobile phone mp3 device. I dare you
to try it!
The software in a phone is the same software in any computer
used to create music. It is exactly the same quality as in
any standard drum machine/Sampler
thanks for the review! There are some free outtakes from
