Though the band's last proper album was back in 2004, there have been a rash of subsequent compilations but this is for those who missed out first time on these albums. For those not familiar with the group, they exploded on the Christian scene way back in 2001 - young popsters with a fresh and radio friendly sound that even broke into the mainstream through Disney notably re-recording the Beauty And The Beast song and also songs for Lilo And Stitch. Their first album was a classic in my opinion, there was a depth to the songwriting and an ability to relate to their peers, also there were no cover versions which seemed to clog up later albums. 'Accelerate' is the earlier of the two and also includes their full line up of five, after which Libby departed, and in my opinion is the better of the two. Highlights include "Do Ya" and "Pressure" (although an even better version of "Pressure" is to be found on the remix album) even if the covers of "We Are Family", "Shining Star" and particularly "Walking On Sunshine" are forgettable. 'Dreaming In Colour' is more pop rock than their earlier stuff and reminds me a bit of the High School Musical stuff that's popular now and would appeal to this crowd. If you missed out on these albums this is definitely worth investigating.
