Judy has been involved in Christian music for some time, already making a big impact in Barbados and Europe. As yet, her profile in the UK is quite low, but she will be commencing live work here later this year. This her first album here displays some excellent songwriting from Judy, with musicianship from a veritable who's who in British Christian music in the credits. There are strains of Joan Armatrading, Sade and the like in the sound of some of the tracks and "Hidden" is a great reggae number. Judy's lyrics are full of love for the Lord and understanding of our humanness with all its failing, which makes listening to the album like a roller coaster ride. Her voice has a good range, making it interesting too. I'm sure we'll be hearing much more of Judy in the years to come.
