This disc has a compilation that moves away from the traditional Christmas style whilst still being recognisable and definitely enjoyable. Juanita, the Bible teacher from Washington DC, has now released several albums, this time giving us music to relax to, reminding us directly what Christmas is really about and bringing us to worship God again. The CD includes such perennials as "The First Noel" and "Oh Come All Ye Faithful", as well as popular songs like "Have Yourself A Very Merry Christmas" and "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen". The musicians playing alongside provide excellent backing, taking part in moving you from times of reflection in God's presence to pure celebration. The accompaniment from choirs and guests is also outstanding - the young Micah Stampley II singing in "I Stand In Awe Of You" is so moving and will bring a smile to your face. "Mary Did You Know" is a great song that really focuses you on who Jesus is - not just a baby boy. Myron Williams joins in with Juanita for the final song, "It's Christmas Time", to close thinking of joy, family, love, cheer and Jesus. This album surely reminds us that the Christmas "baby boy is heaven's perfect lamb".
