Reviewed by Trevor Fitzgerald 'JT3: Joshua's Troop Live' is the third album from the energetic contemporary gospel group from Chicago though the first to get national distribution. For those unfamiliar with Joshua's Troop they consist of 30 members ranging from ages 16 to 22. This youthful energy spills out onto every track, especially the big upbeat numbers like "L.O.V.E. Love (I'll Do)", "Everybody Clap Your Hands" and "When I Think Of His Goodness". The ensemble's leader Percy Gray Jr has managed to focus all this bristling enthusiasm into songs that are vocally and musically tight with enough soul power to rival any gospel band with twice their experience. When it comes to ballads like "I Love You Lord" there's real passion and weight behind the song. Also, when the aggregation take up a call and response approach the effect is genuinely moving and powerful. This is a great contemporary gospel album. this project is real good I thought that it was just kids untill I really listen the to cd. It is great and I love it
