The Bethel Music singer/songwriter delivers an absolute gem of a song here, with his husky voice and an Americana-styled melody. It starts with attention-grabbing lines - "When darkness tries to roll over my bones/When sorrow comes to steal the joy I own/When brokenness and pain is all I know" - before the reminder that when we stand in the Lord's love none of these things has a chance. "Stand In Your Love" was penned by Baldwin with Rita Springer, Mark Harris and Ethan Hulse. As Josh said, "I really felt that the Lord had given us a song that would help put language to the fear and brokenness that a lot of people face in their everyday life." I'd agree. This is a song with huge potential to bring healing.
