Diaz, originally from Florida, emerged onto the Christian music scene in 2003, turning his back on a promising career as a professional baseball player. This offering is his fourth album and his first with a major label. Diaz is an accomplished guitar player and this collection offers 11 self-penned tracks. The title track made a big splash for Diaz in the American Christian music charts and has a memorable hook. The style here fits comfortably into the "acoustic pop" genre with an excellent, tight production feel and eloquent string and keyboard parts added. Diaz's stated intention is to explore a number of different elements of the Christian faith through these songs, but with the central theme of truth running throughout. The majority of the songs are of the personal testimony variety and they address God in the second person and, in truth, the album as a whole would benefit from greater variety. Also, with the pervading gentleness of it all a bit of uptempo dynamism would have greatly improved the set.

Product Description
There’s no question that Jonny’s lyrics, music, and production thus far represent his growth as a musician and in his walk with God.
More Beautiful You was produced by Steve Wilson (Hawk Nelson, Jeremy Camp, Josh Wilson). This aptly descriptive and intelligent pop effort reveals lyrics, melodies and instrumentation that go far deeper than the stereotypical pop hit. With all songs written or co-written by Jonny, More Beautiful You captivatingly illuminates Jonny’s heart – a heart that is passionate about reaching his generation with the message of God’s love, forgiveness, and grace.
“More Beautiful You is a call to boldness,” Jonny explains. “Scripture tells us that Christ was the fullness of truth and love, yet so much that is ungodly has crept its way into our society and I think it’s time to take a stand. We can be both loving and unwavering at the same time.”
