One of KMG’s excellent series of budget price re-issues of ’80s albums. This release brings together two of Jon’s early releases, ‘Change Of Heart’ (1988) and ‘Body And Soul’ (1989) on one CD. Jon’s outstandingly powerful vocal delivery made these albums popular sellers at the time and his albums often featured covers of such notable artists as Stevie Wonder. The opening track ‘Yah Mo B There’ was certainly one of his finest moments, as was ‘Have A Talk With God’ which was written by Stevie Wonder and on which the R&B star made a guest appearance. KMG’s re-issues give you a chance to pick up albums that you may not have got on CD first time round. The rest of the series features some white metal classics. Jon Gibson is about to make a big comeback with B-Rite Records. In the meantime, here’s a chance to catch up on some of his timeless blue-eyed soul.
