Congratulations to John Michael Talbot in reaching his 25th anniversary in "Christian music ministry". This latest collection of 11 songs is based around the theme of wisdom and uses Jewish and early Christian texts. All are thoughtful with a simple guitar and orchestral accompaniment that allow the words to come through loud and clear although this is by no means a "loud" album. Perhaps it is too mellow: some of the sentiments expressed need to be shouted from the rooftop instead of drifting away into pleasant but bland background music.
