This live album, for me, brings a new dimension to the Anaheim, California worship leader by allowing the listener to become enveloped in the experience of worship bringing an extra depth, difficult to feel in a studio album however perfectly it is produced. This was recorded during concerts at the Student Life Camp in Texas and Life Church in Salt Lake City. To hear the audience singing in the background and the interaction during songs like "Rain Down" and "Prepare The Way Of The Lord" helps to take you right into the middle of the experience. This album contains several covers including the Delirious? classic "Rain Down" presented in a wonderfully atmospheric style a little more laid back but without losing the driving rock emphasis while John Mark McMillan's "How He Loves" is elegantly arranged bringing home the theme of God's relentless love. Standout tracks for me are "Christ Is Risen" with the commission for all to go and tell, plus "Full Attention" that can simply melt you before God. This album demonstrates the talents of Jeremy as wordsmith; the tight musicianship of his five-piece band; and a faultless production. One quibble, the last track, a rendition of the old hymn "It Is Well With My Soul" seems out of place and does not fit the style of the rest of the CD. But, apart from that, this is another great Jeremy Riddle album.

Product Description
Few artists have the ability to communicate truth and inspire worship the way Jeremy Riddle does in Prepare The Way, his first live concert recording. In truth, calling these songs, recorded at a Student Live camp in Texas, a 'concert' doesn't describe the powerful worship of those in attendance on this special night. Mixing his own compositions like 'Sweetly Broken' and 'Christ is Risen' with popular worship songs like 'How He Loves', the album is less of a souvenir of Riddle's success and more a document of God's movement among His people.

Jeremy Riddle's gifts go far beyond those of a talented singer-songwriter to the ability to turn mere listeners into active participants.
